Question: Why do people get wrinkles when they get older
age, skin, wrinkle
Asked by FionaR. to Colin on 20 Nov 2014.
answered on 20 Nov 2014:
Because wrinkles are cool!
More seriously, it’s just down a natural aging of the skin which gets less elastic as you get older.
Kevin commented on 20 Nov 2014:
The amount of collagen in the skin decreases as you get older and the skin is less elastic or springy. Sun damage from UV light can also cause wrinkles to develop. People try and cure wrinkles by injective Botox and incredibly toxic chemical that actually paralyses the muscles that give you face its movement and when it goes wrong your face might look smooth and you lose all your expression and character. In short its natural, wear a hat in the sunshine and don’t waste you money of “miracle creams”. They just don’t work in the long term (Some just tighten up the skin for a few hours)
