      Hi 622bera34,

Normally all scientists have a lab. As the working space used for doing experiments and testing is a lab. Experiments can be with chemicals or without chemicals. So there are scientists who do not work in a wet lab or lab with chemicals. For example Bioinformatics -research field where scientists just have a computer or laptop that they use to develop methods and software tools for understanding biological data. But even the room where they work on computer we call it a lab. 🙂 It is not necessary that a lab will always have chemicals.
