Patience, and not going to get it cut.
My hair has always been long (it’s below my waist), so I get a lot of comments about how people “always wanted long hair” and “it never grew”. Many comments seem to be that people are impatient with the speed at which their hair grows (mine grows about 10cm/year) and that they cut it short again to get a style they’re happy with.
I’m not sure if hair length is ultimately determined by genetics, so if you want longer hair then, you’d need to find a time machine and ensure your parents had the right genes for that.

      Hi EllenL,
Cell division is responsible for the hair growth cycle. The new cells push the hair forward to make it longer, so the new hair is added at the root. There are different ways to improve the growth of your hairs like following a healthy lifestyle; get regular trims: Remove ¼ to ½ inch of hair. Trims help get rid of dry, damaged and split ends which can work their way up the shaft of your hair, causing even more damage; pamper your hairs- well-moisturized hair is less prone to dryness and breakage, leading to more hair retention; hair styling should never be painful -Too-tight ponytails and braids worn over extended periods of time will eventually lead to breakage. 🙂
Just let me know if you know other ways to improve hair growth…:)
