  8 minutes travel time from the Sun to the Earth. If the Sun suddenly disappeared from the universe we wouldn’t notice for 8 minutes as that’s how long light takes to get from the Sun to the Earth, so if you managed to travel at light speed you’d be travelling at the same speed so 8 minutes.
