• Question: Will robots really take over the world?

      I won’t say it’s impossible but it won’t happen anytime soon. Robots today are fragile and takes lots of maintenance by people.

      One thing we should do is resist moves by military organisations to put weapons on autonomous robots and drones. Making machines decide to shoot (so that a human does not have to make the decision) is wrong in my opinion.

      Sorry about that. No. Robots will never take over the world you are commanded to relax! You are commanded to relax!

      I don’t thoink it likely but putting key decisions in the hands of machines that are slaves to their code can be dangerous. I wouldn’t like the idea of a pilotless plane etc but computers can certainly ease the workload and make sure we are relaxed enough to make better decisions ourselves.

      No, the robots are not going to take over the world; rather they are going to help us in our works. We have already started using robotics in medical science and other areas for making our life easy. 🙂
